After a decade as the Canadian New Media Awards, we have relaunched this year, and the changes go deeper than just our name.

The Digi Awards are a new kind of awards program, one designed to capture the breadth and scale of the ground-breaking work coming out of Canada and bring it all together in one place.

There's a reason you hear people talk about the "digital media landscape" – the variety of industries flying the digital flag is huge, and the challenge is to see clearly the way these converging sectors hang together.

Our solution: The List.  A place on The List provides both here in Canada and around the world. The digital space is nothing if not noisy, and businesses in Canada and across the globe will turn to The List, from around the world, to help them find the companies and projects that are truly making waves.

On December 6th, 2011, the Canadian digital scene will descend on the Carlu in Toronto for a night devoted to celebrating the best in the business.

The Digi Awards will be the grand finale of nextMEDIA Toronto, Canada's premier digital media conference, taking place on December 5th and 6th at the Carlu.

Expert Digi Awards juries from across Canada will comb through The List for the very brightest stars and biggest disruptors, selecting final Digi Award winners that will be honoured in high style on the big night.
